Program Overview: |
Students enter the Researcher Training Program with the end goal of advancing to the Doctoral Program (after passing the Doctoral Programs entrance examination process). Specialized research-orientated and practical competence is cultivated in an environment that promotes in-depth scholarship within a broad perspective. |

This program aims to develop high-level expertise in specialized technical abilities that are demanded by various professions. |

| (2)Special Entrance Examination for Master’s Programs for International Applicants |
For international applicants who have resided in Japan for no more than two years as of the time of application.
There is one special entrance examination available for the Researcher Training Program.
Both international and Japanese applicants for the MBA program must participate in the same entrance examination.

| Program Details: |
The Program begins in April, and classes are conducted mostly in Japanese during the day time |

-Doctor of Philosophy in Commerce and Management- |

| There are two kinds of entrance examinations for the Doctoral Program: |
[Entrance Examination 1
(Transfer Examination)] |
This examination is mainly for students who have graduated (or are expecting to graduate) from a master's program of another university. |
[Entrance Examination 2
(Internal Examination)] |
This examination is only for graduates (or prospective graduates) from the Researcher Training Master's Program of Graduate School of Commerce and Management of Hitotsubashi University. Graduates from the Master's of Business Administration (MBA) Program and other master's programs of this graduate school, and graduates of master's programs from other graduate schools within Hitotsubashi University are to take Entrance Examination 1. |

Send a request, noting the kind of application guidebook required (degree and program), and enclose an A4 (letter)-size return envelope with name, return address, and stamp. For overseas applications include a COUPON-REPONSE INTERNATIONAL to the value of the relevant weight.
