英語講義「Current Issues in Accounting and Finance A/B」を新たに開講(春学期)

商学部では、2024年度春学期より英語講義「Current Issues in Accounting and Finance A/B」を新たに開講します。本講義は、会計や財務に関する基本的な知識を学ぶとともに、最新のテーマについて英語で議論します。グローバルなビジネスシーンにおいて英語でのコミュニケーションは必須となる中、語学としての学習ではなく、実際のビジネスに関わる題材を英語で学ぶプログラムです。それにより、会計や財務に関する専門用語や理論を修得すると同時に、英語を母国語としない日本人や留学生でも自信をもってそれらを英語で議論できるようになることを目指します。

「Current Issues in Accounting and Finance A」（月曜・木曜、2限）

この講義では、今日の複雑なビジネスランドスケープにおける会計について多面的に掘り下げていきます。企業と環境、社会の相互関係において、会計が重要な役割を担っていることを認識し、ビジネスを取り巻くコミュニティに対する意識を育みます。規制と標準化、持続可能性と持続可能な開発目標（SDGｓ）との整合性、金融市場の効果的な機能といったテーマを学ぶことで、将来リーダーとしての役割を担うための能力を身につけることができます。会計に課せられた今日的な課題に対し適切な理論を用いて考察できるようになるとともに、独自の分析を的確に伝えるコミュニケーション能力を磨きます。

「Current Issues in Accounting and Finance B」（月曜・木曜、1限）

この講義では、コーポレート・ファイナンスの理論的概念とその実践的応用を紹介します。扱うトピックは、資本構造、配当政策、コーポレート・ガバナンス、社債、金融派生商品、リースなどで、コーポレート・ファイナンスの基礎知識をベースに、より複雑な側面を掘り下げていきます。この講義を修了した学生はさらに、コーポレート・ガバナンス、国際的な財務管理、債券、M&Aなどの専門分野について学んでいくことを奨励します。
